“The most common one-liner in the Bible is, “Do not be afraid.” Someone counted, and it occurs 365 times.”
– Richard Rohr
I have never tried this before.
I don’t want to go to the doctor.
It is my first day at a new job.
I am visiting this church for the first time.
I am afraid to answer the phone call. It is my doctor with the test results.
I have to make a speech. Will I mess it up?
I am about to be put under for my surgery.
Isn’t it comforting to know we have a God that tells us we do not need to be afraid. He is a God that is always with us. He never leaves our side. He will be there before, during and after it is over.
Do not be afraid.
