Center Prayer is both a practice and a relationship with God.
Centering Prayer helps us be still.
It helps us to be still and know God.
We learn how to be with God, ourselves and even others.
We open to the great mystery, God, who is beyond our words, thoughts and emotions.
The mystery is that we search for God outside of us and God has been right here all along patiently waiting within.
Yes you heard that.
God is within.
It does not mean we are God.
It means the image of God is within and waits to manifest in our outer world.
I encourage you to try this different way to pray, wordless prayer rooted in Matthew 6:6.
(Don’t give up your other prayer forms.)
Centering Prayer is the entrance of a wonderful journey, to be still and know God.
And see what happens when you open to God in a different and deeper way.
