What Is The Best Way To Start Your Day?

I am a worrier.

Each workday I awake anxious about the tasks I need to accomplish at work or at home.

I cannot answer why other than that is currently the way I am.

The first thing I do before I start my day is take my twenty-minute centering-prayer sit.

It never fails: after each sit I am no longer anxious or worried.

I am calm, excited, and ready to start the day.

Each day I am amazed by the transformation that has occurred.

The healing I need finds me in the silence of centering prayer.

God takes my anxieties and replaces them with wisdom and a deep inner peace.
