I Do Not Like Change!

I don’t like change.

I don’t like struggle.

I don’t like the unknown.

I don’t like when challenges happen at work and I have to figure out how to get them done.

“I can handle this.”

I like to tell myself this.

It is actually, “We can handle this.”

I am not alone.

God and I will partner to get through it.

That is why Centering Prayer resonates and attracts me.

I sit with God.

I let go of me.

I get out of the way.

I trust God during this time.

I let God act in me.

Then I get up from my sit and walk with God.

God and I partner on my day.

It is not I but,

“We can handle this!”

Parker Palmer tells us, “I cannot imagine a sadder way to die than with the sense that I never showed up here on earth as my God-given self.” Do you live from your true self each day? How is this even possible? If you wish to explore this, reach out regarding my one on one offerings.

Do you have a church or book study group that wishes to learn more about Centering Prayer? Invite me to guest speak via zoom. I will cater the talk to best meet your group’s needs.
