Jesus Is At Once God and Human

Jesus is at once God and human.

This truth, referred to as the Jesus Paradox, reminds me that God loves us.

God chose to incarnate in human form.

He chose to commune with us and become one of us, sharing in all or our limitations and sufferings.

Jesus did not write a book.

He was the human “Word” of God in action.

He was God’s book, so to speak.

If we open to the Jesus Paradox, we are better able to open to all of the beauty around us.

We do not need to understand everything to enjoy it.

We ask God, What future actions should we take as a result of this paradox?

The Jesus Paradox means we do not limit ourselves.

It opens us to unlimited possibilities.

We have widened our lens.

We no longer have tunnel vision.

The Jesus Paradox is a life-long journey to discover both the historical Jesus and the Christ of faith.
