How Do You Nourish Your Soul?

My inner spirit is the seed from which my human actions sprout.

My centering prayer, along with my times of pause and prayer throughout the day, water my inner spirit.

As I water my inner spirit, its roots grow deeper.

My actions emerge from these roots, but the roots will shrivel without daily watering.

My daily waterings are centering prayer, silent pauses, and verbal prayer.
