What thoughts do you feed yourself?
Do you actually believe them?
Be careful what you tell yourself.
Your subconscious will accept them as truth.
When you change the thoughts you feed yourself, you change your life.
Let me say that again.
When you change the thoughts you feed yourself, you change your life.
Centering Prayer, Journaling, Affirmations ,Visualization and Gratitude are vital to this process for me.
During centering prayer, I let go and open to the presence and actions of God within.
I connect to my true self; the person God wants me to be.
I become one with God.
God and I are in synch.
I want to live my life in synch with God.
I love to journal.
I journal the actions God has prayed in me during my centering prayer sits.
I turn these actions into affirmations, and I read these affirmations multiple times each day.
I visualize these affirmations.
I feel what it would be like if they were happening now.
Lastly, I end my day with gratitude.
I drop to my knees and thank God for all things small, medium and large that happened today.
I have added one more step to my gratitude practice.
I send love and prayers to someone who was a thorn in my side.
We all have these people:)
I probably have been one to someone too.
They were not so nice to me today, but I will choose to send them love.
Then I go to bed.
I hope you found this helpful.
Please share if you think it will also help someone else.

Contemplative Prayer is the world in which God can do anything. To move into that realm is the greatest adventure. It is to be open to the Infinite and hence to infinite possibilities.

In-depth training in the Christian contemplative path of prayer—a self-guided course.
You need a simple practice to help you, a way of opening to the gift of God. A good contemplative practice makes you more present to the divine presence in you and aligns your actions with the divine action in you.
