What Do We Do with Our Racing Thoughts?

You have tons of racing thoughts.

This means you are failing at your centering prayer practice.

You stop your current sit and resume your day.

You decide to take a break from your sits.

A week or maybe a month has now passed since your last sit.

The truth is there is no such thing as a bad centering prayer sit.

Why?

Our job is to show up.

Our job is to surrender and let go.

Over and over.

Again and again.

Say to God,

I will let you handle this.

I surrender my racing thoughts to you.

Let me be one with you.

Over time you will grow to love this special prayer time.

It will ground you.

It will become a place you come from.

You will not be able to imagine your life without these daily sits.

Do you need a break from your fast paced personal and work life? You are always on the go and close to or at burnout. You cannot take much more. Reach out regarding my one-on-one coaching.
