Don’t Let Things Weigh on Your Mind!

When things weigh heavily on my mind, I find it helpful to give them to God.

What does this look like?

I like to wrap this into my centering prayer practice.

As I begin my sit, I verbally or interiorly give them to God.

I let them go to God.

I say, “here they are God.”

I say, “I will no longer worry about them.”

“I give them to You.”

“I trust you.”

I let them go.

And I begin my silent sit.

When things weigh heavily on your mind, give this a try.

Make it part of your centering prayer routine.

Let them go to God.

Let me know what you think.

Share if you found helpful.
