Are You Grateful For What You Will Accomplish?

I love taking walks in our neighborhood.

My wife and I walk together almost everyday.

This is our special time to talk, reflect, laugh, appreciate and share our life.

Other times we take solo walks.

This is our time to listen to music, books, podcasts or just think.

One morning I took a solo walk to listen to an audiobook and to talk with God.

While walking through a wooded area I stopped my audiobook to talk to God.

I thanked God for the wonderful things in my life:

Wife

Children

Family

Friends

House

Living in NC

New Remote job

Books

Audios

Walks

College football😊

Philadelphia Eagles

Coffee

Family and friends who visit

I also thanked God for future things:

Upcoming visits by family and friends

Things I will learn and do at my new job

The writing of my second book

Upcoming trips

Things I want to do and accomplish (I speak as if they are done)

I think It is important to reflect on the past and what we are grateful for.

I also think it is just as important to look to the future and be grateful for what we will do and accomplish.

I like to believe I will do and accomplish these things.

I believe in the unseen.

This can be a lot of fun!

When we connect to God and become more and more aware of our oneness with God, the future path will become more and more clear.

And when it does, we must take action.

I connect to my future path via a few practices: centering prayer, journaling, visualization, affirmations and gratitude.
