What happens during centering prayer?
We let go of thoughts and emotions.
And open to the loving presence and healing actions of God within.
Repressed emotions and thoughts we did not know we had are released.
The tension in our body is released.
We all hold tension in our bodies in different places: forehead, neck, stomach, face, and so on.
Where do you hold tension in your body?
When we practice centering prayer day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, we release amazing amounts of physical and emotional baggage.
Centering prayer provides a safe place to release the emotional and physical baggage of a lifetime.
God heals us!
This is true freedom!
We are freer and lighter!
God does not want us to carry around all of this excess baggage.
What we accepted as normal, does need need to be our normal.
And now no longer is!
This weekend. Still time to register for the Centering Prayer Summit. Excellent lineup of speakers. Listen live or with access to recordings.
I practice visualization everyday to help me move forward on goals I want to achieve in my life. Here is an excellent podcast episode by Jack Canfield on The Power of Visualization.
(I am currently reading The Success Principles – 10th Anniversary Edition: How to Get from Where You Are to Where to Where You Want to Be by Jack Canfield.)
