Do you have too many goals?
None seem to be getting done!
Pick 1.
Set the others aside for now.
What is most important to you right now?
Make this one your priority.
Google picture images of what this goal will look like.
Look at this picture in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, and before you go to bed.
Create an affirmation statement around this goal.
“I am so happy and grateful now that I am ___________.
Recite this affirmation in the morning, afternoon, evening and before you go to bed.
Feel what it will be like to have accomplished this goal.
Visualize its completion.
I like to incorporate these images and affirmations into my centering prayer practice.
Before my centering prayer sit, I view this image.
I read my affirmation.
I feel what it will be like to have completed it.
I see it done.
Then I let it go.
I give it to God.
I trust God.
And begin my sit.
I let it brew with God.
I let God add to it.
I get up from my sit and partner with God as I take action.
Together we cocreate my future.
I would not have it any other way.
What one goal do you want to take action on today?

I am currently reading The Secret of Happiness by Billy Graham. Love this quote! “The soul actually demands as much attention as the body. It demands fellowship and communion with God. It demands worship, quietness, and meditation. Unless the soul is fed and exercised daily, it becomes weak and shriveled. It remains discontented, confused, restless.”
