When should you take your centering prayer sits?
Be flexible!
If life shifts, shift your sit.
If the morning no longer works, move it to the afternoon or evening.
If you find you fall asleep in the evening, move it to the morning or afternoon.
Don’t stop your sits!
Just change when you do them.
My first sit has always been first thing in the morning.
I need this sit!
God and I partner to begin the day.
My second sit was in the evening.
I stopped this second sit.
I found it was taking time away from my family.
I moved it.
It moved to early afternoon.
This sit no longer took time away from family.
Look at your life and place your sits where they belong.
If life shifts, shift your sits.
I love to read! Here are two books I am currently reading. This one is currently $2.99 in kindle version: Paul: A Biography by N. T. Wright. What made Paul tick? Why was he on fire for Jesus? N. T. Wright does not disappoint.
The second book is currently $1.99 in kindle version: The Triumph of Christianity: How a Forbidden Religion Swept the World by Bart Ehrman.
I just finished this book: Do the New You: 6 Mindsets to Become Who You Were Created to Be by Steven Furtick. Great motivational book. I love the six mindsets. Very helpful! Click here to purchase.
