What Bob Proctor Taught Me About Growth, God, and Comfort Zones

I Always Enjoy Reading Bob Proctor

I’ve been reflecting on some powerful quotes from the late Bob Proctor, and I’d like to share them with you—along with what they stirred in me.

“The results you’re getting in life are an expression of your level of awareness.”

This reminds me that as I become more aware of my oneness with God, nothing is impossible. (Centering prayer is vital to this process for me!)

Things I once feared—or didn’t know how to accomplish—suddenly seem possible because I have access to God’s infinite wisdom and love.

God is my partner. God gently nudges me to step out of my comfort zone, try new things, and grow. God wants me to help and serve others, and that means moving forward, not standing still.

“You can’t stay in one place. You’re either going forward or you’re going backward, so you’d better make sure you’re going forward.”

This one really makes me pause. Am I spending too much time in my comfort zone?
Here’s what I know:

  • I want to publish my second book.

  • I want to continue adding coaching clients.

  • I love marketing affiliate products that I believe will help people.

But what’s next? What will really stretch me?

Lately, I feel nudged to start a podcast.

I imagine it will include solo episodes where I share practices and insights that have helped me on my journey with God—so they might help you too.

I also envision interviewing fascinating people whose books and work have inspired me. If they can help others grow, I want to share that with you.

“You are a channel through which God works, and God wants you to do your best.”

This last quote leaves me asking:

Am I truly doing my best in every area of my life—fatherhood, marriage, friendship, work, and service?

Can God look at me and say, “Well done, faithful servant”?

That’s something I’ll be reflecting on this week. How about you? Which of these quotes speaks to you the most?

Two books I highly recommend from Bob Proctor are Change Your Paradigm, Change Your Life and The Secret of the Science of Getting Rich: Change your beliefs about success and money to create the life you want.

P.S. If you’re on a similar journey and want to go deeper, I offer one-on-one coaching to help people grow spiritually and live more fully. If that resonates with you, feel free to reach out. You can a schedule a free consultation here. 🌿✨
