What Would God Say to Me?
Richard, I love you.
Did you hear me? I love you.
Richard, you and I make a great team.
Richard, never forget, I am always with you.
Richard, you worry too much.
Come back to now.
This moment is where I am.
Richard, you cannot fail.
You can only fail to act.
Richard, I do not want you to look back on your life with regret because fear kept you from moving.
Richard, step out of your comfort zone.
Go.
Move.
Try something new.
Richard, you are not too old.
You do not lack experience.
You have been shaped by every step of your journey.
Your voice, your story, your way of seeing the world are uniquely yours.
No one else can offer what you offer.
Richard, move forward in faith.
I will meet you there.
Richard, I have you.
Trust me and let’s go.
Richard, do not let fear have the final word.
Richard, your voice matters.
It needs to be heard.
Richard, do not be distracted by criticism.
Stay anchored in what I say about you.
Richard, allow others to help you and be willing to help others.
This is how love moves in the world.
Now pause.
Take a breath.
Pick up your pen.
What would God say to you?
