I recently added a beautiful Jesus icon to my work desk. It’s become so much more than just decor—it’s a sacred pause in my day.
Throughout my work, I stop, even if just for a moment, to gaze at Jesus—and let Him gaze back at me. My Spiritual Director once encouraged me: “Gaze into the eyes of Christ until you see yourself looking back.”
This simple practice reminds me that I am never alone. Whatever the moment requires—peace, wisdom, strength, love—Jesus is always present, ready to provide. I just have to ask.
When life feels rushed, this gentle pause calls me back to what matters most:
💡 The present moment.
💡 The people around me.
💡 The work I’m here to do.
💡 The grace unfolding right now.
I’m committed to continuing this sacred gaze and seeing what Christ longs to show me.
