10 Days In: What the Full Focus Journal Is Teaching Me About Life

My 30-Day Full Focus Journal Challenge

I just purchased The Full Focus Journal, and I wanted to be more deliberate and intentional with my journaling—so I decided to put myself on a 30-day challenge and share it with you!

Now that I’m ten days in, I want to share a few things I’ve learned so far.

Words to Live By for the Next 90 Days

Start.
I don’t need to know how everything will work out. Just start—and the path will become clear. Clarity comes through action.

Action.
Move. Take a step! Nothing changes without action.

Serve.
Life is about helping and serving others. I need to both help others and allow myself to receive help.

Trust.
Who do I need to trust? God. God and I will partner in this journey.

Slow down.
Let’s say that again—slow down!

Enjoy life.
Create experiences with family and friends.
Listen.
Watch.
Laugh—it’s good for the soul!

Let go of fear, doubt, and worry.
Don’t get caught up in what others think.
Act on the dreams and goals God has planted within me.

I love this quote by Karen Kaiser in the journal:

“Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely.”

Change is what makes life exciting!
Growth is optional—but nothing happens if we choose not to grow.

I don’t want to look back with regret because I feared growth and took no action.
Even if I fail, I will have tried—and that means I’ve grown.

Ask God for help. Trust the process. Keep going.

I’m really enjoying this journaling practice and plan to keep at it.
I encourage you to give it a try and see what you learn about yourself along the way.

I’ve Had the Privilege of Coaching Three Types of Centering Prayer Practitioners

Beginners – Those just starting out, seeking guidance to build a steady, life-giving practice.
Deep Seekers – Seasoned practitioners who feel stuck and long to go deeper but aren’t sure how.
Pastors & Leaders – Those who pour into others yet feel spiritually depleted, ready to renew before burnout sets in.

No matter where you are on your journey, you don’t have to walk it alone.
I’d be honored to walk beside you.

🌿 Let’s explore one-on-one coaching together.

Your true self is waiting to be uncovered. Let’s begin the journey.
