A Contemplative Resource I Wanted to Share

I wanted to share something I think many of you may appreciate.

If you are interested in contemplative spirituality, prayer, and the Enneagram as a tool for greater self-awareness, the Contemplative Enneagram Summit looks like a thoughtful gathering of teachers and conversations.

One of the themes I return to often here at Silence Teaches is becoming more aware of God’s presence and God’s action in our lives.

That is one of the beautiful gifts of centering prayer.

As we sit quietly and consent to God’s presence and action within us, we gradually become more aware of who God created us to be.

That is why this summit caught my attention.

The Enneagram is not the destination.

It is simply one tool that can help us better understand ourselves, notice the patterns that keep us from living freely, and become more open to God’s transforming work.

The summit brings together a number of thoughtful teachers to explore these themes from a contemplative perspective.

If that sounds interesting to you, I encourage you to take a look.
