What Actions Can You Take Today?

LET GO of what you cannot control.

Why is this important?

It allows you to FOCUS on the things  you can control.

What can you control?

You can control how you will react and the actions you will take.

This is particularly important in today’s environment.

It is difficult but very helpful to let go of your fear, anxiety, worry.

They do not serve you.

Yes, acknowledge them.

Feel them.

Then let them go.

I do this as part of my Centering Prayer practice.

I do this by brisk walking.

Say to yourself.

I can handle this.

I will get through this.

I will reach out to friends and family virtually.

Who can I help?

What new things can I do and create now?

What tasks do I need to get done today?

I can follow the social distance guidelines and other parameters my local community has put in place.

Take time to laugh and talk with others.

Take time to safely walk if you can get out.

Don’t focus on what you cannot control.

Focus on what you can control.

Much love to you all.

Contact me here and let me know what actions you can take today.

I often end my Centering Prayer practice with the use of a Prayer rope before I resume my daily duties. I own both a prayer rope and prayer bracelet from Prayer Bracelet that I use as part of my Jesus Prayer practice.

Writing as a Spiritual Practice: This course helps you to access the rich spiritual stories that lie deeply within you. Words are powerful. The words that you write can be used to:

  • help you understand yourself better – and therefore divine God’s purpose in your life
  • facilitate healing of spiritual wounds
  • minister to others more effectively
  • share your testimonies of how God has worked in your life

How to Write a Devotional: Plus How to Get Them Published – If you read devotionals, you already know how they can be a true blessing. A devotional can uplift you when you’re feeling discouraged, sad or lonely. It can allow you to feel a keen sense of fellowship with another Christian, even if the two of you never actually meet. And, if you are feeling called to write devotionals, know that you have a unique opportunity to bless others and make a genuine difference in their lives. This course takes you step by step through the process, and then guides you towards publishing, if that is your goal.
